Mark 5:1-15
Parable: Jesus casts out the demon in the man
I…….The real demons that have the ability to hurt you lie within
II……You can never deal with an evil spirit while it is still in the person
(IE: you can’t deal with a drunk person and expect them to get the message)
_____You have to call the spirit out to separate the flesh and blood from the spirit
_____This is why you don’t get mad with people…Get mad with the spirit within the person
III……When demons get inside you…They can make you do things you normally don’t do
____It’s not you but it’s the forces that are working within you.
____Know the difference between you and the demons within you
IV….Demons will occupy a new person when the old person leaves
_____Demons have to kill something….They will go from person to person.
_____They will get to your thoughts 1st…Then allow you’re thoughts to tell you to kill yourself
V…..It wasn’t until Jesus clothed the demon-possessed man, renewed his mind, body and spirit
that the people became afraid
_______They weren’t afraid when the man was going crazy and was naked
VI…..God says, whatever you are going through in your life KEEP IT TOGETHER…Stay at the feet of Jesus
_______The devil wants nothing more than to see you Lose Your Mind.
