John 12:1-8

– Before there were 12 disciples, there were 30 disciples.
– Jesus was talking to Judas and said you are what you attract (birds of a feather flock together)

– Michael Brown story first teaches us that we should not take that which is not ours.
– Secondly, it teaches us not to carry ourselves in a way to give others a
reason to attack us.
– Be careful of the company that you keep.

– There is a difference between what is right and wrong and what is true.
– You cannot get a job with a hat facing backwards and pants below your waist.
– You must not look like a criminal.
– Watch the company that you keep, it can kill you.

– We have to take ownership of our own so that we don’t have anyone else
telling them how to live.
– It starts with challenging one another to be better.

– The black man is at war with his own existence because there are so
many forces trying to make him extinct.
