The Temptation to Look Back

– Success = failure.. after failure… that refuses to give up.

– There is a difference between a mistake and a bad decision.
       – A Mistake: something you do, unaware of what the consequences would be
       – Bad Decision: what you knew wasn’t right but you did it anyway
**God holds us responsible for our bad decisions

– No one who makes a vow to go forward and who’s looking backwards is worth
   what’s in front of them.

– Break up the sinfulness and that mess in your life.
       – God says, if you refuse to plow I will never plant

– Much of the stuff you keep asking for, God will not give because you are not willing to
   break up the ‘stuff’ in your life in order for you to receive.

– The greatest ‘mess’ is not the new opportunity to sin, it’s the sin you call back & build on.
       – God doesn’t want to withhold anything from us, but he can’t give us
          what doesn’t fit us.

– God says as you tear up the mess, I’ll plant the seeds in your life.
