Eric Garner in NY……People ask whether protests even work anymore?
____Nothing will change just because people get emotional……Authentic protest
still matters…..Rioting is not authentic protest!
II…..What does it mean when a Christian protests?
______Christians protest not by having an emotional response to injustice…..But
by teaching what it means to love, portray and believe
III…..Christian teaching is not about how much scripture you can quote
______When you live it….. Your life will be the best sermon people ever witness

IV…….Prayer can do what a picket sign can never do
_____The power of prayer as a protest will change everything
_____Christians protest with hands clasped, knees bent and GOD listening.
V…….Prayer moves the heart and spirit of people, that protest doesn’t do
______GOD says: If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves
and pray and turn from their wicked ways…….Then will they hear from heaven
